Here we are opening up the cottage. Can you believe it? It hailed that day. But we had lots of fun and it didn't deter Cork from fishing the whole time. While Cork was having fun, Roger and Dave were busy trying to keep the water going.

This is HAIL!!!

Cork was catching fish but he sure has not beat the cottage record as yet. Out with the old couch, in with the new beds! We need to have good sleeping at the cottage.

Posted by PicasaThis is quite amazing. Sap dripping down the hole made by a pileated woodpecker. Those birds must have some major headache by the time they are done.
Still more May 24 2006 at the Cottage

We went in boats down the creek and then at the dam we got out and went for a walk.
The water is very high in the spring.
Here we are at the dam. Cork and Judy, Gary and Sue, Heather and Roger and Warren and Meredith ( my niece )

Loon in front of the cottage.
One of the magnificant views from the front deck of the cottage. Is it not spectacular! One can never get enough of this view.

House Flipping April 2006. Roger, Cork, Judy and I have a new business. Flipping houses! As if we did not have enough to keep us busy already. So this is our first purchase- a house in the east end of Belleville. The house is about 60 years old and has about 6 layers of wallpaper in every room. I will send photos when we get finished so you can see the transformation.

Scrape, scrape, scrape!
